North Central Washington

Our area of focus is North Central Washington State: Grant, Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan Counties. Together these counties have a rich array of agriculture products. Grant, Chelan, and Okanogan Counties are major producers of apples, pears, and cherries. Grant County leads the state in production of vegetables including potatoes, corn, and onions. Grant County contains many acres of irrigated spring wheat while Douglas and Okanogan Counties contain vast stretches of dryland winter wheat. Production of new crops such as wine grapes and blueberries is increasing, especially in Grant County.
